A year's fundraising through cycling with AG2R La Mondiale

On October 14, in the Pasteur Museum's "Salle des Actes" on the Institut Pasteur campus, a ceremony was held for the presentation of this year's check by AG2R La Mondiale, a loyal Pasteurdon partner and Institut Pasteur sponsor. The "Vivons Vélo" program, which has now been running for six years, has gone from strength to strength, raising precious funds for research through cycling activities. More than 30 cyclists who had taken part in the Paris cycle ride earlier in the day came along to the event to find out more about the Institut Pasteur and its founder by visiting the museum.

At the ceremony, attended by Pierre-Marie Llédo, Director of the Department of Neuroscience, and Frédérique Chegaray, Head of Fundraising at the Institut Pasteur, Emmanuel Chazalet, External communications AG2R La Mondiale, hot off the heels of the bike ride on October 14 in aid of Pasteurdon – which raised €8,000 – presented a check for €88,890, over €33,000 more than the amount raised in 2016!

This year's events have been a great success and a wonderful reflection of public support and generosity. Preparations are already under way for the 2017-2018 season of "Vivons Vélo" in aid of the Institut Pasteur.
