CORONAVIRUS

Now more than ever, international cooperation is vital if we are to overcome the crisis caused by the COVID-19 outbreak. And that cooperation must be characterized by solidarity and a spirit of mutual assistance, since viruses know no borders. The Institut Pasteur International Network represents a wonderful example of cooperation in which the expertise, technologies and logistical capabilities of each member are made available for the benefit of all.

The Institut Pasteur in Paris and its International Network of 32 institutes have been extremely active worldwide in responding with science to the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. Its response currently involves a lot of people at the Institut Pasteur in Paris and several teams in the network in other countries

In the April 3 edition of the newsletter, we invited you to tell us about your experiences and how you are making your own contribution to the pandemic response by getting involved in the #PasteuriansTogether challenge. You can do this in two ways: by capturing your day-to-day life in a photo as a way of sharing what you are up to and showing your support or by keeping in touch via the Institut Pasteur's private social media platform: the Alumni website.

Each week in the BIP you’ll find a “Useful Information” section that will allow you to keep informed - from afar or on campus - about developments, recommendations and initiatives related to this epidemic situation. Health, human resources, logistics, computer security, best practices for working remotely, etc. Check back here each Friday for the bulk of useful Pasteurian information.
