FreezeClean project: attend the launch webinar on Tuesday, April 15

The Institut Pasteur is launching the FreezeClean project to optimize the management of -80°C freezers, reduce the carbon footprint, and improve laboratory efficiency. This guide will help you sort, organize, and safely close your freezers effectively.

Join the webinar on Tuesday April 15, 2025 from 4 to 4.45pm (English)

Do you know that there are now more than 480 freezers on the Institut Pasteur campus in Paris ?

The total cost of operating the fleet is €2.7 million/year, and the carbon footprint is 342.82 tCO2e. The FreezeClean project, part of the Pasteur 2030 strategic plan, aims to reduce the number of -80°C freezers on the Institut Pasteur campus by 15% in order to optimize space, reduce the carbon footprint and generate savings (target: 400 k€ per year).
