40 YEARS OF HIV

Attend the public event organized by the Institut Pasteur at Ground Control on June 1 from 7pm

Following on from the ceremony in honor of Françoise Barré-Sinoussi (see the dedicated article) on June 1, the celebrations will continue with an evening event for the public on the same day at 7pm. The off-campus event will be organized by the Institut Pasteur at "Ground Control," a cultural venue in Paris' 12th arrondissement.

The evening will be open to all, giving the Institut Pasteur a further opportunity to reach out to society by inviting members of the public to meet its scientists working on HIV during this special anniversary year marking 40 years since the discovery of HIV.

The event will include round tables, a photo exhibition, a photocall, fun activities and music. More information about the program will be published in an upcoming edition of the newsletter!
