Promoting the 40th anniversary of HIV discovery on the Institut Pasteur's social media
Since the start of 2023, in connection with the 40th anniversary celebrations, the Institut Pasteur's social media pages have been showcasing the highlights that have already taken place: the publication of the first microscope image of HIV – at the exact time and on the exact day, February 4 at 5.45pm, 40 years on; and information about events and highlights to come, recent scientific news, specific content, etc.
In the run-up to another major anniversary date, the publication in Science of the research by the Institut Pasteur team behind the discovery of HIV on May 20, 1983, the Institut Pasteur's social media pages will reveal a specially designed banner based on the official label marking 40 years since the discovery, to give the celebrations a visual online boost.
To increase the visibility of the anniversary even further, you can add the banner marking the 40th anniversary of HIV discovery to your social media pages on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. This is your opportunity to serve as ambassadors for a major Pasteurian discovery! The newsletter team will get back to you soon with thumbnails to download that are compatible with each social media platform.
Make sure you keep an eye on the newsletter and the Institut Pasteur's social media pages!
