IT Charter: new edition

The Institut Pasteur's information systems user charter has recently been updated to keep step with developments in technology and IT usage related to remote working, the use of personal equipment, social media, laws and regulations, IT-based threats, etc.

The charter lays down rules for using information and communication systems provided to staff in connection with their professional duties. Compliance with these rules is essential to ensure the security and proper functioning of the information system.

Alongside the information systems user charter, an additional charter – the information systems administrator charter – provides a framework for information systems administration.

The latter charter is aimed at technical administrators of information systems and other staff with extended rights for information systems.

The new charters are applicable immediately and will be incorporated into the appendices of the Internal Regulations, alongside the Charter for the Prevention and Management of Conflicts of Interest.
