research.pasteur.fr_photopb.jpeg The European Research Council (ERC) has announced the results of the 2016 Advanced Grant call for proposals. Philippe Bousso, Head of the Dynamics of Immune Responses Unit, was selected for his Enlighten project (Integration and propagation of immunological signals during cancer and infection).

The ERC provides grants to leading researchers from all over the world on the condition that they conduct their research in Europe. There are three categories of grants, depending on how many years' post-PhD experience the researcher has. There are also Proof of Concept grants for researchers who have already been awarded an ERC grant and are keen to explore the innovation potential of their research. The average success rate for the 2016 ERC call in all categories was 9.6%.
