On March 15, in connection with Brain Awareness Week, the Emile Duclaux lecture hall was packed out for a fascinating lecture and debate organized by the Institut Pasteur's Department of Neuroscience.
Philosopher Mathias Girel, neuroscientist Samah Karaki and psychiatrist Chantal Henry shared their expertise and views on the mechanisms that influence our perception of information: cognitive bias, the role of emotions and the construction of knowledge. This was a lively and insightful discussion that raised crucial questions about our relationship with truth.
