Friday 11 April: Carnaval at Institut Pasteur – The Science of Celebration

Get ready for an evening of music, dance, and discovery!

On Friday, April 11th, BRASIP (Brazilians for Science at Institut Pasteur) invites the Pasteur community to experience the vibrant spirit of Brazilian Carnaval at The 25.

Join us from 5 PM for samba and batucada workshops, followed by a live concert with Brazilian music, food, drinks, and a poster exhibition celebrating science and culture.

Costumes and colourful outfits are welcome!

This event is open to all members of the Pasteurian community.

The BRASIP network is a DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiative designed to foster an inclusive environment for individuals interested in Brazilian culture and science. It welcomes Brazilians, Portuguese speakers, expatriates, and anyone passionate about promoting cultural and scientific exchange with Brazil.

The network’s objectives include building connections, promoting cultural exchange, showcasing Brazilian scientific innovations, and encouraging collaboration within the Institut Pasteur.
