Company set-up

Reminder: Upcoming "Start-up breakfast" session on April 13

The next Start-up breakfast will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 8:30 am via Teams with Jean Roubas as guest.

Jean Roubas is an investment manager of 50 Partners. 50 Partners is a leading startup accelerator in France. Cofounded by 50 successful Tech entrepreneurs (BlaBlaCar, Showroomprivee, Le Bon Coin, Dataiku…), the program provides a few selected startups with high-quality mentoring, financing, international connections, networking, and office space in central Paris.

Jean Roubas studied Engineering management at both Ecole Centrale de Lyon, and Duke University, after getting a bachelor’s degree in business administration at University Lumière Lyon II.  He first worked at Urgo (OTC & Medical Devices) for four and a half years from 2012. His missions were to launch new product lines in South East Asia as a project manager and support building the Tech & Innovation department as an international CEO advisor. In 2016, Jean Roubas created a MedTech startup called "Data For Life," which developed a chronic patient's physiological monitoring T-shirt. After selling his company's share in 2018, he worked as a freelance advisor/investor for two healthcare startups for a year. Jean Roubas decided to join 50 Partners in June 2019. Now, he is creating "50 Partners Healthtech" on the same model.

If you want to learn the promising early-stage startups' selection process in 50 Partners and which professional profiles are required to work in startups or innovation ecosystems, please come and share his rich experiences.
