New name for the Welcome, Support and Career Development Structure for Scientists (MAASCC)

As of December 1, 2023, the Welcome, Support and Career Development Structure for Scientists (MAASCC) led by Mariana Mesel-Lemoine will be called the "Career development service for Scientists (CARE for Scientists) (service de développement des carrières pour les scientifiques).

The CARE service will report to the Department of Scientific Affairs and have the following duties:

• Support scientists at all stages of their career in developing their career plan in line with their aspirations (CARE for your future);

• Assist the postdoctoral community with onboarding and getting started, and provide for their wellbeing and personal and professional development needs (CARE for postdocs);

• Help the Institut Pasteur to implement structural and cultural changes by providing a working environment that is diverse, fair and inclusive with attractive working conditions for research (CARE for institutional change).
