La Poste issues a commemorative Louis Pasteur stamp to mark the bicentenary of Pasteur's birth
Alongside events accredited with the official bicentenary label (see the article), a number of related initiatives are also set to take place. These include the design and issue of a stamp and souvenir set bearing Louis Pasteur's portrait by the French postal service La Poste in February 2022.
Designed by Patrick Dérible on the basis of a photo proposed by the Pasteur Museum and engraved by Pierre Bara, the stamp and souvenir set will be specially available for collectors from February 4 to 6, in advance of their general release, at the following locations:

Dole, in the Pasteur Museum at Louis Pasteur's birthplace

Paris, in the shop "Le Carré d'Encre", the only shop in France dedicated to stamp collecting and correspondence
From February 7, 2022, the stamps will be on sale in some post offices.
