Workshops on the implementation of the Nagoya protocol at the Institut Pasteur

The Nagoya Protocol sets out the principle that each country is the « owner » of the genetic resources collected on its territory and therefore, the latter may control the access and use of such genetic resources.

As such, the research projects conducted by Institut Pasteur scientists fall within the scope of the Nagoya Protocol and an internal process has been conceived.

To introduce you to the contents, the objectives, and the issues of the Nagoya protocol as well as the internal process, the Legal Department and the Biological Resources Center of the Pasteur Institute (CRBIP) will hold two training sessions.

You are invited to attend this educational workshop on either January 25, 2019 (2:30pm-4pm) or on February 7, 2019 (10am-11:30am).

A leaflet summarizing Institut Pasteur internal process is also available.
