Autism spectrum disorder and neurodevelopmental disorders: vulnerabilities and inequalities in life trajectories

FHU I2-D2, InovAND – the Excellence Center for autism and neurodevelopmental disorders –, the INCEPTION project and the RESOLIS association are organizing a day for scientists and the general public on "Autism spectrum disorder and neurodevelopmental disorders: vulnerabilities and inequalities in life trajectories."

The day will explore the vulnerabilities of people with ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and NDDs (neurodevelopmental disorders). In the morning, the focus will be on how current research is improving our understanding of the different forms these vulnerabilities can take and the challenges involved in addressing them. A series of participatory workshops will then compare the views of scientists, public stakeholders, associations and affected individuals to try to learn from real-life situations and identify avenues for research and ways in which this research can be implemented in practice to improve the life trajectories of children with ASD and NDDs.
