BICENTENARY

"Pasteur, a visionary", watch the replay of the conference held on December 8

The conference "Pasteur, a visionary" took place on December 8. This event, held in connection with the commemoration of the bicentenary of Louis Pasteur's birth, was organized by the French Academy of Sciences and the Académie française, in partnership with France Mémoire and with the support of the Simone and Cino Del Duca Foundation and the Christophe and Rodolphe Mérieux Foundation.

Although Louis Pasteur is known for his rabies vaccine, which earned him the sobriquet of "benefactor of humanity," the conference particularly focused on the full breadth of his scientific achievements, which may be less well known but are continuing to have an impact on our daily lives and on research and medicine.
