Translational Science Day: "Organoids, from stem cells to disease modeling," on January 26, 2026

The Medical Department is organizing an upcoming Translational Science Day on the topic "Organoids, from stem cells to disease modeling" on January 26, 2026, from 9.20am to 6pm in the Émile Duclaux lecture hall.
This year's edition of the annual event, attended by leading scientists and clinicians in biomedical research, will explore several subjects related to the scientific priorities of the Pasteur 2030 Strategic Plan:
Organoid systems modeling human interfaces and the developing brain, with Chiara Zurzolo, Karl Koehler, Pierre Vanderhaegten and Alexandre Baffet
Organoids for the entire life span, from development to aging, with Kenneth McElreavey, Alain Chedotal, Miria Ricchetti, Shahragim Tajbakhsh and Han Li
Organoids for modeling diseases, with Samy Gobaa, Anne Grapin-Botton, Danijela Matic-Vignyevic, Marc Lecuit and Nathalie Sauvonnet
Organoid models of human biology and ethical frontiers, with Miria Ricchetti, Anu Bashamboo, Lisa Chakrabarti and Denis Duboule.
Feel free to register and find out about the latest scientific advances in these research fields.
