Upcoming "Creating your own company" session on January 9, 2018

The Institut Pasteur organizes a monthly meeting with one or more entrepreneurs in the field of life sciences. These events are aimed at PhD students, postdocs, researchers and engineers interested in technology transfer and entrepreneurship.

These events, entitled "Creating your own company", take the form of a breakfast meeting on the first Tuesday of each month.

The January session of "Creating your own company" breakfast will take place on January 9, at 8.30am (Duclaux, 2nd floor) and will focus on the following theme: "the daily life of a start-up creator". The speakers will be:

  • dessine-9janvier2018.png Lison Chouraki, author of the "Guide for young innovative companies",

  • Thomas Ybert, co-founder and CEO of DNA Script, created in 2014,

  • Yves Germani, CEO of Biospeedia, a spin-off of the Institut Pasteur created in 2011.

The speakers will give a 15 to 20 minute presentation including aspects such as when they decided to create their start-up, their daily life as a start-up creator, the challenges they face, etc., before a Q&A session.
