The French Blood Service (EFS) will be running a blood drive on Tuesday January 9, from 10am to 3pm, in modules 1 and 2 under the social building.
Blood products have a limited shelf life and there is an ongoing need: 10,000 people have to give blood each day to meet the needs of the EFS. Your long-term commitment is vital and really makes a difference. By giving blood, you can save lives. Becoming a blood donor is a generous, selfless and community-minded act. Your blood donations help treat a million people every year.
You can give blood if:
you are between 18 and 70 years of age,
you weigh at least 50kg.
Anybody can give blood subject to certain conditions that are explained during the prior confidential medical appointment.
Proof of ID is requested for first-time donors. We would recommend that you don't give blood on an empty stomach.
Thank you. We hope to see lots of you there!
