The Institut Pasteur joins forces with YouTubers to support vaccination via a campaign launched by the French Health Ministry

Bruce Benamran (from the "E-penser" channel) and Julien Ménielle (from the channel "Dans ton corps") have both created videos to be released on their YouTube channels that are designed to bury some of the more widely held myths about vaccines and vaccination.

Bruce Benamran, a YouTuber who is already well known by the Institut Pasteur's scientists for having supported Pasteurdon over the past two years, came to the campus to produce his "informative" video about vaccination and the new concept of compulsory vaccination that will come into force on January 1, 2018. Frédéric Tangy, Head of the Viral Genomics and Vaccination Unit, was interviewed to give his expert views in his laboratory on campus.

Just 24 hours after it was launched online on Wednesday, December 20, the video had already clocked up nearly 150,000 views!
