Metabolomics Core Facility, Fungal Heterogeneity five-year group, Scientific Integrity and Conciliation Committee

  • Creation of the Metabolomics Core Facility

The Metabolomics Core Facility (plateforme de métabolomique) was set up on December 1, 2020 in the Center for Technological Resources and Research (C2RT).
The facility, also affiliated with the Department of Microbiology, will be led by Sandrine Aros, a research engineer at the Institut Pasteur.

  • Creation of the Fungal Heterogeneity five-year group

Following the favorable opinions from the Scientific Council in October 2019 and the Board of Directors in December 2019, the Fungal Heterogeneity (Hétérogénéité fongique) five-year group will be set up on January 1, 2021.
The five-year group will be part of the Department of Mycology and will be directed by Iuliana Ene, an expert research associate at the Institut Pasteur.

  • Change in the composition of the Scientific Integrity and Conciliation Committee (CISC)

From December 1, 2020, the following changes will apply to the composition of the CISC.

The committee is composed of five members who have shown an interest in issues relating to scientific integrity, as follows:
- One external member who chairs the committee;
- One retired Institut Pasteur scientist, who serves as vice-chair of the committee and should be contacted for all issues related to scientific integrity;
- Two senior scientific staff employed by the Institut Pasteur for at least five years (or retired);
- One staff member employed by the Institut Pasteur for at least five years, not necessarily a senior scientific staff member.
Unless otherwise specified, the members serve on the committee for a four-year term, renewable once.

  • Appointment of members of the Scientific Integrity and Conciliation Committee (CISC)

In view of Decision 1058 of November 27, 2020 on the Scientific Integrity and Conciliation Committee,
The President has appointed the following individuals as members of the committee from December 1, 2020:
- Alain Fischer, chair – for four years;
- Alain Israël, vice-chair – for four years;
- Catherine Werts – for four years.
Benoit Robert and Corinne Sarrazin, appointed in 2018 for a four-year period, will remain on the committee until the end of that period.
