Cinema offer: new tickets available for the film The Best is Yet to Come

The Best is Yet to Come, a feature film directed by Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patellière, was released in cinemas on Wednesday. The picture stars Patrick Bruel and Fabrice Luchini, with the latter playing Arthur, a scientist in infectious diseases at the Institut Pasteur. Several scenes were filmed on the Institut Pasteur's Paris campus.

Nearly 90 extras (PhD students, scientists, doctors, etc.) agreed to take part, and no fewer than 60 people were involved in the logistical, technical, safety, legal and HR dimensions of the film shoot. Many thanks to those who generously gave up their time. Various areas on campus were chosen to feature in the film, including several laboratories, external views of a number of buildings, the Émile Duclaux lecture hall and the Institut Pasteur Medical Center. We would also like to express our thanks to all those who had to interrupt their work during the shoot.

The production team invited Institut Pasteur staff to a first preview of the film on November 26, attended by the directors, then again to the official preview at "Le Grand Rex" cinema on December 2 alongside the directors and actors. Nearly 450 Institut Pasteur staff were able to see the film before its general release.

To make sure as many Institut Pasteur staff as possible get a chance to see the movie, 200 additional free tickets are now available for anyone interested in going to see a regular cinema showing. These tickets are available now and can be used in any cinema in France (one ticket per person). Sign up with your "@pasteur.fr" address via the link below.
