New section on ePasteur: explore available in-house scientific training

The Institut Pasteur's intranet, ePasteur, now has a brand new section presenting in-house scientific training, accessible via the HR & Careers space.

Are you looking for training in a specific scientific field? Do you need a refresher course? Good news! You can now browse the Institut Pasteur's range of in-house scientific training in a brand new section on ePasteur.

This new section, designed by the Skills and Training Center in the Human Resources Department, lists all the training developed in collaboration with scientists and experts on campus.

A full, detailed presentation

With nearly 70 pages of content, the section offers a detailed presentation of the training available in a variety of fields:
•    Training in bioinformatics and biostatistics
•    Training in scientific communication
•    Technological training
•    Online training
•    Training in innovation and business development
•    Training in integrity and ethics for PhD students
•    Training in animal testing
•    Open science training pathway

For each training session or course, you can see the goals, prerequisites, program, registration details and useful contacts. You will also find guidance on how to register, a newsletter (3 to 4 issues each year) and a calendar of upcoming events.

From this space you can also access information about the Institut Pasteur's partnerships and licenses with Nature Masterclasses and Coursera.

A constantly evolving range of training

The scientific training at the Institut Pasteur is largely available because of the efforts of internal trainers from the Institut Pasteur community, whose expertise and contribution are crucial. Their active role in developing these training courses is much appreciated.

The range of training is constantly evolving and is regularly updated to meet the needs of scientists on campus. Your suggestions and requests are taken into careful consideration to help us improve our training offering on an ongoing basis.

Eligibility

These training courses are open to all Institut Pasteur and Orex staff.
