BICENTENARY

Come and pick up your free bicentenary book in a festive atmosphere in module 3!

As this special bicentenary year comes to an end, and as announced in previous newsletter the Institut Pasteur is delighted to offer all staff (employees, OREX, apprentices, interns and visiting scientists) a copy of their choice of one of the following three books (and according to the available stocks for each book):

•    Pasteur, l’homme et le savant (Pasteur, the man and the scientist), by Annick Perrot and Maxime Schwartz, published by Editions Tallandier

•    Pasteur, by Michel Morange, published by Editions Gallimard

•    Pasteur : une science, un style, un siècle (Pasteur: a science, a style, a century), by Bruno Latour, published by Editions Perrin

Make sure you save the date!

Two distribution sessions will be held: come along and pick up your bicentenary book in a festive atmosphere in module 3 on Wednesday December 14 or Thursday December 15, from 9am to 5pm!

Hot drinks and pastries will be available as you pick up your book, and you can also take the opportunity to:

-    Check out the traveling exhibition "1822-1895, from Louis to Pasteur"

-    See a video of the highlights of this year of celebrations for Louis Pasteur's bicentenary

-    Enjoy a break with refreshments around the Christmas tree

How to pick up your book

You can pick up the book of your choice in module 3, on presentation of your badge and after signing the collection sheet.

If you are absent during the two distribution days (away on a business or field trip, on sick leave or maternity leave, part-time, etc.), you can ask one of your colleagues to pick up your book for you. The person will have to fill in a proxy form (see below) and will have to queue up with the completed form in the line corresponding to your last name (not his/her own name).

Click here to download the proxy form that your colleague will need to hand in to pick up your book for you (in French)

Come along on December 14 and 15 to pick up your book and enjoy a fun, festive occasion as the Pasteurian spirit mingles with the spirit of Christmas!
