Establishment of a Graduate School for emerging infectious diseases, funded under the "Future Skills and Professions" call

The "Emerging Infectious Diseases 1H-EID" project, led by Université Paris Cité with the Institut Pasteur, the Alfort National Veterinary School and Sorbonne University, has been selected for funding in the second wave of the "Future Skills and Professions" call for expressions of interest (AMI-CMA).

The project will receive nearly €5.9 million in funding over five years, with this money being used to set up a Graduate School offering a high-level multidisciplinary research-based study program in the field of emerging infectious diseases.

This unique "One Health" approach will help train up future players in research and healthcare and decision-makers of tomorrow, with the aim of better anticipating future disease outbreaks.
