PROCUREMENT

Coupa: key figures, technical developments and upcoming dates

The new Coupa procurement platform has been up and running since January 20 and is available for your online orders. Several training sessions have been organized on campus to help you get to grips with the new tool. Three weeks after it was launched, the project team and the Financial Affairs Department can reveal some initial figures and share the latest developments.

Coupa by the numbers after three weeks:

•    More than 1,600 users have logged into the platform at least once
•    More than 3,500 orders created
•    More than 3,700 purchase requests approved
•    More than 400 delegations of approval authority created
•    Nearly 800 invoices processed/finalized
•    More than 1,800 requests sent to the support team, 95% of them resolved

Coupa is generally working well and the support team is reporting any difficulties encountered to the IT team. If you have any points to share, please contact coupa@pasteur.fr.

But some technical corrections and improvements to the online catalogs are being made:

•    The teams in the Information Systems Department are working to resolve the difficulties that some people are encountering in accessing Eurofins

•    the data provided by Fisher were inaccurate, so the catalog was not available in the standard format. It is now available with 2025 prices.

•    More generally, the 2025 prices will be updated in February for all suppliers. A tolerance margin of 5% has been applied to enable orders to be placed with 2024 prices.
