130TH ANNIVERSARY

The daily work of scientists showcased on the campus railings

20180212_152910-02.jpeg 20180212_152943-01.jpeg Since the beginning of the week, you may well have noticed that the railings of the Institut Pasteur's Paris campus are once again being used for an open-air exhibition! The new large-format images, perfectly in keeping with the architectural surroundings, reveal some of the many facets of the Institut Pasteur with a selection of people, colorful scientific images and shots of scientists at work.

This new series of pictures was taken from the book "Institut Pasteur, recherche d'aujourd'hui, médecine de demain"/"Institut Pasteur: Today's Research, Tomorrow's Medicine". Many of you picked up your free copies of this new book at the distribution sessions held on Wednesday and Thursday. The exhibition is the perfect way to mark the beginning of the Institut Pasteur's 130th anniversary year.

As they move from one side of the street to the other, visitors to this open-air display will see pictures relating to tuberculosis and malaria, AIDS and Ebola, stem cells, neuroscience and the microbiota – and of course the Institut Pasteur International Network.

This is a truly fascinating illustrated history of Pasteurian science – 130 years old and still going strong!
