Upcoming "Creating your own company" session on March 6

The Institut Pasteur organizes a monthly meeting with one or more entrepreneurs in the field of life sciences. These events are aimed at PhD students, postdocs, researchers and engineers interested in technology transfer and entrepreneurship.

dessine2mars2018.png These events, entitled "Creating your own company", take the form of a breakfast meeting on the first Tuesday of each month.

Reminder: The next “Creating your own company” breakfast meeting will take place Tuesday, March 6 at 8.30 in the Duclaux building, 2nd floor.

This session will focus on the following theme: “What did I create my start-up with?” and will feature three high-level speakers:

- Laurent Levy, CEO of Nanobiotix, a late stage clinical company using nanomedicine for cancer patients

- Philippe Jaïs, President and CSO, Eukarÿs, a biotechnology company which develops and manufactures therapeutic messenger RNA (mRNA)

- Fabrice Chrétien, head of a research unit at the Institut Pasteur and co-founder of Regstem, an early stage biopharmaceutical company repurposing molecules and creating new treatments in the field of regenerative medicine.

Each speaker will give a 15 to 20 minute presentation of his experience of start-up creation and the motivation behind it (in terms of results, licenses, market analysis, etc.), before a Q&A session.
