Today, the emergence and spread of treatment-resistant pathogens is a serious health threat in all countries. Futhermore, after years of use of insecticides, the appearance of resistant vectors – in particular mosquitos – is jeopardizing the success of control strategies. A high-level forum, the 2018 edition of the Institut Pasteur International Network Symposium will foster multidisciplinary dialogue and exchanges between scientists of all backgrounds and representatives from international institutions involved in these major public health issues.
