PubMed and h-index training
The Scientific Information Resources Center (CeRIS) team is running two training sessions:
- Training: PubMed - My NCBI: useful tips and tricks
Learn how to use PubMed more efficiently with handy techniques including advanced searches, limiting searches, automatic emailing of search updates and citation export.
This training session, a mix of theory and hands-on exercises, will help you get to grips with all these PubMed features and boost your research skills. The session will take place on Wednesday February 22, 2017, from 2 to 4.30pm.

This training session in English is open to all. It will take place in the training room on the second floor of the CIS building.
- Training: "Obtaining your h-index"
This is the perfect opportunity to learn all about the issues related to the impact of your publications. Have you ever been asked to provide your h-index? To list your publications? To assess the number of times they have been cited? By the end of the session you will have generated your own citation report.
This training session in French is open to all. It will take place in the training room on the second floor of the CIS building. The session will take place on Thursday March 2, 2017, from 2 to 4pm.
