AEZAN, a new application for visitor and parking management to replace Télémaque

The Institut Pasteur's application for managing visitors and booking parking spaces on campus, Télémaque, is being replaced by a new application, AEZAN.

This new application will meet three specific requirements that users have raised with the Security Department:

•    A more secure application

•    A more responsive, flexible application

•    A system that is more environmentally friendly, especially in terms of consumables (paper badges, pouches, etc.), while remaining easily accessible and practical.

Advantages of the new application for visitor admission:

•    More user friendly for hosts  → The application can be used on your PC or smartphone, from the office or home.

•    Sustainable development  → Campus access passes will become virtual, with visitors presenting a QR code to access campus.

•    A better interface for visitors  → The application gives them a campus map and shows nearby transport options and safety guidelines. They can access all these services easily from their smartphone.

Advantages of the application for booking parking spaces:

•    More user friendly  → Hosts can book their parking space at the last moment if they wish, up to 5 minutes before arriving on site.

•    Sustainable development  → No more physical parking permits.

•    A better interface  → A parking space can be booked for visitors when arranging their visit to the campus.

•    Less time needed for entry checks  → Security officers will be given touchscreen tablets that they can use to quickly check temporary parking permits
