The Pierre Ledoux-Jeunesse Internationale Foundation, which operates under the aegis of the Fondation de France, is launching its 33rd call for applications in collaboration with the Institut Pasteur. The aim of the scheme is to fund biomedical research internships at one of the Institut Pasteur International Network institutes for young French Master's and PhD students and post-doctoral fellows studying biology, medicine, pharmaceutics or veterinary science at a university or higher education institution.

The Pierre Ledoux-Jeunesse Internationale Foundation and the Institut Pasteur Department of International Affairs co-fund grants for internships based at Institut Pasteur International Network laboratories in low- to medium-income countries.

The deadline for applications is Friday, April 15, 2016.

The grants are for 3 to 10 months and offer recipients the opportunity of complementing their professional training and personal development with field and laboratory experience in infectious or parasitic diseases in a developing country within the Institut Pasteur International Network.

Details of the application process and the internships, together with the application forms, are available on the following web page.

The application forms (available online) should be completed in French and returned by post to the Pierre Ledoux-Jeunesse Internationale Foundation by Friday, April 15, 2016. Applications should be based on a project that has been approved by the internship supervisor at the host laboratory and the director of the institute.
