Information about use of the AstraZeneca vaccine at the Institut Pasteur and the introduction of certificates for traveling to and from work
- Use of the AstraZeneca vaccine
Following the positive opinion delivered yesterday by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), France will be resuming vaccination with the AstraZeneca vaccine this afternoon. The French health authorities will be making a further announcement today setting out a number of new conditions for the vaccination campaign.
Use of the AstraZeneca vaccine at the Institut Pasteur will therefore resume shortly in accordance with these conditions. An additional message will be sent out on Webcampus on Monday with more details.
- Certificates for traveling to and from work
Following the press conference held by the French government on Thursday March 18 about the health situation, new measures are set to be implemented in 16 French departments, including those in the Greater Paris region. In this new context, from March 20 onwards staff will be required to carry a certificate when traveling to and from work. A general message will be sent out this afternoon to all Institut Pasteur staff. The Human Resources Department is updating the certificates currently being used by some staff. It will send out a survey so that it can draw up additional certificates for those staff who need to come onto campus.
