Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
The Institut Pasteur organizes a monthly meeting with one or more entrepreneurs in the field of life sciences. These events are aimed at PhD students, postdocs, researchers and engineers interested in technology transfer and entrepreneurship.
These events, entitled "Creating your own company", take the form of a breakfast meeting on the first Tuesday of each month.
The next session will take place at 8.30am on Tuesday February 6 in the Duclaux room, on the second floor of the Émile Duclaux building, with a presentation of the start-up Inatherys.
Inatherys is a start-up focusing on the development of monoclonal antibodies with innovative targets and modes of action. The antibodies developed by Inatherys block the entry of iron into cancer cells, inducing their death, without impacting healthy cells. They will be developed as a new treatment for leukemia and specific lymphomas. Created in 2009, Inatherys raised €4 Million in 2013.
Coralie Belanger, CEO and Pierre Launay, CSO, will present how they created Inatherys and the current challenges for its future development. Come and meet the leaders of a promising biotechnology company!
