Launch of the "Green Café" monthly event

As it seeks to pursue its sustainable development commitments, especially in connection with the Responsible Campus program, the Institut Pasteur is continuing its efforts to raise awareness, with the additional support of the GreenTeam Employee Resources Group (ERG) since the beginning of 2023.

The various targets agreed by the ERG include raising awareness among staff on campus of the importance of eco-responsibility. To this end, in coordination with the Institut Pasteur's Sustainable Development Department, the Awareness group in the GreenTeam is launching a monthly event, the "Green Café." It will be held on the first Thursday of every month at the same time (1.30-2pm), with a variety of topics explored and presented by the working groups in the GreenTeam, which is now composed of more than 65 volunteers.

The first Green Café will take place on Thursday February 8 from 1.30 to 2pm in the Agora Omics building. The topic will be: "A look back at the meeting between Institut Pasteur President Yasmine Belkaid and the GreenTeam."

We hope that lots of you will come along (bring your own mug or cup!) to the first Green Café to find out more about the GreenTeam and the Climate Fresk initiative and to look back at the meeting on January 16, 2024. Following the meeting with Institut Pasteur President Yasmine Belkaid, she confirmed that "protecting our environment by striving for excellence in sustainable development" would be one of the three cross-cutting themes in the "Pasteur 2030" Strategic Plan.
