Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
If you would like to keep parking your vehicle (car, motor scooter or motorbike) on campus, the Institut Pasteur Security Department requires you to fill in a parking permit request form and send it to parking@pasteur.fr. All requests for a parking permit must include a completed form.
This year, all vehicles will be given an electronic "UPASS" badge, based on the same principle as electronic toll badges, with the aim of making life easier for drivers when they arrive on campus. If you already have an electronic UPASS badge, you can simply apply to renew your permit by emailing parking@pasteur.fr.
How to use the badge:
Standard windshields: fix it to the top of your windshield behind the rear-view mirror.
Athermic windshields: fix it in the non-athermic area. This may be at the top or bottom of the windshield – it will be indicated either with a dotted pattern or a lighter-shaded area.
For more information, please refer to your vehicle's manual.
We would remind you that you are only eligible for a permanent parking permit if you have not claimed the 50% refund for a public transport pass or season ticket (Navigo pass, etc.).
OREX staff members should ask for a certificate from their employer confirming that they have not claimed this refund. This certificate should be presented to the reception area at 25, Rue du Docteur Roux.
From Monday February 24, 2020, any vehicles without a visible, up-to-date permit will not be allowed on campus.
A reminder of campus parking and access regulations:
1. Traffic flow plan
2. Vehicle access
Vehicles may only enter campus at the entrances at numbers 25 and 28 rue du Docteur Roux, from 7am to 9pm.
Parking is not permitted at night or at the weekend.
3. Staff vehicles with an annual permit fixed to the windshield
The barrier is opened by a security officer after he/she has checked the validity of the annual permit fixed to the windshield and the Institut Pasteur permanent access badge.
If there are several people inside the vehicle, passengers will need to get out and use the turnstile.
4. Access for two-wheeled vehicles and bicycles
All motorized two-wheeled vehicles, bicycles and scooters must badge in at the campus entrance barriers, except for those with a UPASS badge.
If there are several people using the same vehicle, passengers will need to get out and use the turnstile.
5. Vehicles that have been registered for temporary access
Vehicles must be registered no later than the day before they will be entering campus via the PARKING application. Security officers stationed at the entrances at numbers 25 and 28 will issue a permit to the driver after checking his/her identity and the vehicle registration number.
6. Vehicles with no permit or temporary registration
They should be parked off campus.
