New decision memos for the creation of five-year groups and units

Following the favorable opinion issued by the Scientific Council in December 2015:

The InBio - Experimental and Computational Methods for Modeling Cellular Processes (InBio - Méthodes expérimentales et computationnelles pour la modélisation des processus cellulaires) Unit was set up on February 1, 2017 in the Center of Bioinformatics, Biostatistics and Integrative Biology (C3BI).

This unit, which is also attached to the Department of Genomes and Genetics, will be directed by Gregory Batt, a Research Associate at INRIA. The unit will be set up for a first five-year term which will run through to January 31, 2022.

Following the favorable opinion issued by the Scientific Council in March 2016:

 

The Decision and Bayesian Computation (Décision et processus bayesiens) five-year group was set up on February 1, 2017.

This five-year group is part of the Department of Neuroscience and will be directed by Jean-Baptiste Masson, Research Associate at the Institut Pasteur.

The Cell Death and Epithelial Homeostasis (Mort cellulaire et homéostasie des épithéliums) five-year group was set up on February 1, 2017.

This five-year group is part of the Department of Developmental and Stem Cell Biology and will be directed by Romain Levayer, Research Associate at the Institut Pasteur.

The Membrane Biochemistry and Transport (Biochimie membranaire et transport) Unit was set up on February 1, 2017.

This unit is part of the Department of Cell Biology and Infection and will be directed by Thomas Wollert, a Director of Research at the Institut Pasteur. The unit will be set up for a first five-year term which will run through to January 31, 2022.

Following the favorable opinion issued by the Scientific Council in June 2016:

The Microbiota of Insect Vectors (Microbiote des insectes vecteurs) five-year group was set up on February 1, 2017 at the Institut Pasteur in Cayenne.

This five-year group, which is also attached to the Department of Parasites and Insect Vectors, will be directed by Mathilde Gendrin, a Research Associate at the Institut Pasteur.
