Prevention day on musculoskeletal disorders caused by working with display screen equipment

picto-tms-travail_sur_ecran.png In connection with the Institut Pasteur's ongoing commitment to the prevention of work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), the Occupational Health Department will be organizing a prevention day on Thursday February 23, this time exploring the question of ergonomics and working with display screen equipment (DSE).

The aim of this event is to provide information and training about MSDs and how they can be prevented.

There will be two sessions, one from 10 to 11.30am and one from 2 to 3.30pm.

Each session will include:

  • a presentation of best practices and recommended postures when using DSE

  • a demonstration by a physiotherapist of exercises that encourage ergonomic postures while working with DSE

  • a presentation of ergonomic furniture by the Occupational Health Department

For organizational reasons people will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis (spaces are limited – registration required).
