Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
The Biomaterial and Microfluidics core facility is housing the Organ-on-Chip Center dedicated to the Emulate technology. The system is used to recapitulate the physiology of certain organs or tissues on a microfluidic chip. Current models include intestine, lung, liver or kidney mimics. Custom development can also be pursued.
Over the past two years, the OoC center opened a yearly call for projects in order to ease access to this technology. Both microfluidic chips and strong support were offered to the selected projects in 2019 and 2020.
In 2021 we intend on delivering the same service while adapting the chip attribution process.
This year we propose going for a “First come, first served” model. This will allow for new projects to be explored and for continuing the investigations on projects that might need more chips.
