WOMEN AND SCIENCE

In connection with the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the newsletter team is focusing on some female staff members and presenting some of the initiatives, highlights and upcoming events that emphasize the Institut Pasteur's commitment to promoting gender equality and encouraging and highlighting the participation of women in science.

Agenda

The Institut Pasteur is delighted to invite the entire Institut Pasteur community to the first Institut Pasteur general lecture, given by ecologist Sandra Lavorel on Monday March 3, 2025 from 4.30 to 5.45pm in the CIS auditorium and via Zoom.

Scientific events

The Scientific Secretariat General compiles information on the week’s conferences and publications, patents, funding opportunities, job vacancies, training and events that you may find useful for your career...

education

The aim of this course is to shed light on recent developments in the relationship between science and society, and to try to provide some answers and/or food for thought on the questions these developments raise. It is aimed primarily at doctoral students, post-docs and young researchers, but is open to anyone, scientist or not, interested in these issues. This year's theme is “Science and Utopias”.

Museum

The museum recently acquired seven photographs by René-Jacques at a photography auction. These photographs taken at the Institut Pasteur were sold by his family.
