Bulletin interne de l'Institut Pasteur
Further to the message sent out on January 6, the BCP Committee would like to clarify two points regarding the rules in place to protect staff.
Given the resurgence in COVID-19 cases, we would remind you of the following guidelines, which must be strictly adhered to:
If you experience any symptoms, it is important to stay at home and get tested (with a lateral flow antigen test or a PCR test). The costs of tests are covered by the French health insurance authority without the need for a prescription if you have been vaccinated.
If your test is positive, you must inform the Occupational Health Department by emailing drhst@pasteur.fr as soon as you receive the result; you must also inform your line manager. It is important to comply with isolation measures, which vary depending on your vaccine status and your age, and to identify any contacts.
If you are a contact, you must also inform the Occupational Health Department by emailing drhst@pasteur.fr as soon as you find out, and you must inform your line manager. The new rules on isolation that came into force on January 3, 2022 vary depending on your vaccine status and your age.

Please note that these guidelines apply to all people on campus.
If you are a vulnerable person at risk of developing a severe form of COVID-19, according to the applicable official definition, it is important to contact the Occupational Health Department (drhst@pasteur.fr), which will examine your situation. If you cannot be given enhanced protection in your workplace or you are unable to work from home on a full-time basis, you may be eligible for a partial furlough arrangement, which will be organized in coordination with the Human Resources Department.
Finally, for your own protection and that of your colleagues, it is your responsibility to comply strictly with hygiene and distancing measures, especially regularly airing closed spaces, observing physical distancing and wearing a mask at all times, both outdoors on campus and in buildings or shared spaces. If you fail to comply with hygiene and distancing measures, the management reserves the right to impose sanctions.
You can find information about mask distribution on the Webcampus home page.
Since presence on campus remains at a high level on a daily basis, we would ask you to comply with the stricter measures for working from home that were recently introduced and will remain applicable until further notice.
