Report on the 51st International Network Council of Directors meeting in Yaoundé

The 51st Council of Directors meeting for the 32 member institutes of the Institut Pasteur International Network took place at the Pasteur Center in Cameroon (for the first time in the country) from November 12 to 15, 2019.

On November 12, the Minister of Health, Dr. Malachie Manaouda, inaugurated a new building at the Pasteur Center in Cameroon, funded by the Cameroon government.

On November 13, 2019, he chaired the gala held to mark the 60th anniversary of the Pasteur Center in Cameroon. A scientific symposium on the theme "Scientific advances in support of the control of infectious diseases" took place during the event. Open days were organized for the public, and a campaign on cancer screening and prevention was run from November 18 to 22.
