"Biology for non-biologists" course: a look back at 2022

In September and October 2022, 55 Institut Pasteur staff took part in the "Biology for non-biologists" (BNB) training course run by the HR Development Department and the Scientific Secretariat General.

These sessions were geared towards support staff and assistants based in research units and departments, with the aim of improving their understanding of the working environment of scientists. They were introduced to the basics of biology, the main research topics at the Institut Pasteur and the workings of laboratories.

The next BNB training session will take place in spring 2024.

In the meantime, any staff that are interested can sign up for the following activities:
- laboratory tours in spring 2023;
- two BNB half-days in autumn 2023 that will look at the following topics: COVID-19 and vaccination, antibiotic resistance, hearing loss, and a presentation of the TITAN microscope.

Sign up for the laboratory tours (subject to available spaces) and BNB half-days and find out more about BNB training courses
