Upcoming bioinformatics and biostatistics courses

The Bioinformatics and Biostatistics Hub offers bioinformatics courses dedicated primarily to first-year Ph.D. students at the institute.

In the age of Big Data and computational biology, it is crucial to give young biology researchers the foundations of reproducible research: from the design of optimal experiments giving reliable and robust results, to the analysis of their own data in autonomy, while at the same time getting to know the bioinformaticians and statisticians on campus.

Courses are organized into modules that last from three hours to three days full time.

For this academic year, the Bioinformatics track has been enriched with an "Advanced Unix commands" module.

Courses are in English and will begin with a one-day mandatory Common Core module for all Ph.D. students on February 4, 2022, on Teams. This first mandatory class will allow students to register for course modules corresponding to their background and needs. No registration is required to attend this common core day.
