New version of the directory of the bioinformatics resources

A new version of the directory of the bioinformatics resources published by the Center of Informatics for Biology (CIB), bioweb, is now available. This version fully reflects the recent evolutions of our infrastructure:

• important growth of the number of available software tools,

• availability of multiple versions for a same tool,

• coverage of new topics (statistics, development tools, etc.)

• multiple means of access (command line, Mobyle, Galaxy).

It also provides many improvements, most notably:

• a better search and filtering of the available software packages and tools,

• the integration of the available databanks,

• the display of the last software and databank updates.

Additionally, the description and classification of the software aregoing to be part of an update by the Bioinformatics Hub and CIB teams.
