2024 call for applications to host hospital professionals in research units, with the Medical Department

Since 2011, the Institut Pasteur has hosted more than 30 hospital staff (physicians and pharmacists) in its research units via the annual call for applications for guest researchers.

The scheme, which is not related to any specific scientific field, is aimed at hospital practitioners, contract practitioners, hospital-university assistants and chief residents in the Paris Public Hospital Network (AP-HP). It enables medical professionals to carry out research (for example a thesis) in a laboratory for a period of 1-3 years.

The guest researcher program represents a unique opportunity to develop a translational project at the Institut Pasteur. The Medical Department can help scientists to identify interested clinicians or publicize the call among learned medical societies.

Deadline for applications: March 4, 2024 before midnight

Hearings and results at the end of June, start date: November 1, 2024
