Third edition of the conference on "Scientists, physicians and research participants"

The ICAReB platform is part of the Center for Translational Science (CRT), whose aim is to facilitate research on humans. It offers access to human biological resources (samples with associated clinical data) for the Institut Pasteur's scientists and external employees.

Every two years, the healthy volunteers and patients who help advance research by giving samples and sharing their data are invited to a conference where they can meet and talk to the scientists and physicians who use their resources.

This one-day conference, part of the "Science and Society" strategy, will be divided into three sessions. It will take place in the Émile Duclaux lecture hall on May 14, 2020.

The first session will consist of a brief, non-technical presentation of the results of previous research based on biological resources from healthy volunteers or patients. The second session will focus on the issue of sharing personal data at French and European level (with the help of the theater company "Les Transbordeurs").

The final session will look at issues raised by the platform's volunteers.

If you are interested in this initiative, please feel free to attend the event.
