CORONAVIRUS

COVID-19: current recommendations from the BCP/PBRP Committee

The Covid-19 epidemic has been on the rise again in our territory for several weeks, driven by the BA.4 and BA.5 sub-variants of Omicron. The BCP/PBRP committee therefore calls on Pasteurians to be extremely vigilant and recommends the following actions:

  • for events or meetings bringing together a large number of Pasteurians or external guests, to set up, if possible, a hybrid face-to-face and remote/Teams formula;

  • regular ventilation of the premises, as much as possible;

  •  wearing a mask, particularly in the company restaurant (self-service area), in enclosed spaces including cafeterias and shared work areas. Please note that the distribution of masks will start again on July 4 in room CFJ 28-01-01E, in the François Jacob center (building 27), on Mondays and Thursdays (1 box of 50 masks/person/15 days).

  •  taking into account the recommendations recently published by the HAS concerning vaccination, treatment and management of Covid-19 in order to protect the most vulnerable:

- a second booster dose for people over 65 years of age, in particular those at very high risk of severe disease and those for whom the risk of clustering justifies reinforced individual protection;

-  a fourth dose of vaccine for immunocompromised individuals;

- note that in case of a second booster dose, an interval of at least 6 months from the first booster is recommended and that a second booster dose should not be considered in persons with recent SARS-CoV-2 infection, regardless of age.

- if you are a case contact, please follow the official recommendations

We will continue to monitor the epidemiological situation and will inform you if additional measures are required.
