2019-2023 STRATEGIC PLAN

Professional gender equality awareness week in September – Save the date!

Save the date for the 2022 edition of Gender Week, from September 27 to 30.

The Institut Pasteur Senior Management Board, with the support of the Board of Governors, has identified professional gender equality as a priority of the Strategic Plan. This year, the publication of the Gender Equality Plan was an important milestone in the Institut Pasteur's commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

So we would therefore encourage all of you to come along from September 27 to 30 for a week dedicated to gender equality and working better together.

The program will include a lecture, round tables, training workshops and information and discussion sessions to raise awareness among the Institut Pasteur community of a variety of topics such as unconscious bias, sexist behavior, the glass ceiling, women in leadership, etc.

Detailed information (programs, how to sign up for training, etc.) will be sent out shortly on campus but you can already note the dates in your diaries for the end of September!

SAVE THE DATE

Tuesday September 27, from 2pm: an afternoon with a lecture and round tables with external speakers to discuss three broad topics: unconscious bias, sexist violence and the glass ceiling. The main measures in the Institut Pasteur Gender Equality Plan will also be presented.

Thursday September 29: one-hour training workshops will be run throughout the day on the topics of leadership and communication. These workshops will be open to the entire Institut Pasteur community (workshops in French with several sessions also in English). Information about the practical details will be sent out soon.

During the week, there will also be two further discussion and awareness sessions:

a Teams information session: "Sexist behavior and harassment: prevention, identification and action at the Institut Pasteur";

a "chill café" run by the DEI (diversity – equity – inclusion) group on a topic related to striking a balance between personal and professional life.

Detailed information about the 2022 edition of Gender Week will be available on this Webcampus page
