Save the date for the Paris Public Hospital Network (AP-HP) "Guest researcher" event on October 11, 2018

Since 2014, the Institut Pasteur has been a partner of the Paris Public Hospital Network (AP-HP), hosting various hospital staff in a number of its laboratories, with the clear, shared aim of strengthening cooperation between academic and clinical research.

With the "Guest researcher" program, for a given period hospital professionals can devote all or part of their time to research in our laboratories, alongside our researchers. In cooperation with the Clinical Research and Innovation Office at AP-HP, the Institut Pasteur has so far hosted 25 residents, hospital-university assistants, chief residents and hospital practitioners following different calls for applications issued over the last years.

To promote the "Guest researcher" program and provide more information, a half-day meeting will be held on the Institut Pasteur campus on Thursday October 11.

During this event, any AP-HP candidates can meet the heads of the host units via a speed dating system!

This event will be officiated by the Paris Public Hospital Network (AP-HP) CEO Martin Hirsch and the Institut Pasteur President Stewart Cole, and will include presentations of some of the emblematic research projects of the "Guest researcher" program, notably one by Françoise Barré-Sinoussi together with Doctor Nicolas Noël.

There will also be a round table, introduced by the Director of the AP-HP Clinical Research and Innovation Office Florence Favrel-Feuillade on the theme of surgery research.
