New CAD software for 3D parts: the Prototyping Hub at your service

The Prototyping Hub, affiliated to the Technical Resources and Environment Department in the Technical Department and composed of the Fab Lab and the Prototyping Workshop, has recently acquired some new CAD (computer-aided design) software for designing 3D parts. The software is available for use by all staff working at the Institut Pasteur.

In addition to the Fusion 360 and Inventor CAD software, the SOLIDWORKS platform is available for testing on a virtual machine.

We would remind you that training in using the CAD software and machines available in the Fab Lab can be provided for anyone working at the Institut Pasteur.

We hope that you will feel free to make use of these facilities, which aim to provide expert support throughout the project cycle, from needs identification to prototype design.
